Privacy Policy
Effective 13 June 2026
FilingFox ("we", "us", "our") helps founders form and manage US LLCs, US corporations and UK limited companies. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide: name, email, phone, postal address, date of birth, nationality, and identity documents (such as a passport or national ID) required to form your company and meet Know-Your-Customer (KYC) obligations; the details of your proposed company (name, members/directors, ownership, registered address); and payment information.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and similar usage data, collected through cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the site.
Information from third parties: government registries, payment processors and identity-verification providers used to complete your filings.
How we use your information
To prepare and submit company formation, tax-ID, registered-agent and related filings on your behalf.
To verify your identity and comply with anti-money-laundering, KYC and other legal obligations.
To process payments, provide customer support, send service updates, and operate your client dashboard.
To improve our website and services, and—where you have not opted out—to send relevant offers.
How we share information
With government agencies and registries (e.g. US Secretaries of State, the IRS, UK Companies House, HMRC) to complete your filings.
With service providers who work on our behalf (payment processors, identity verification, hosting, email delivery) under confidentiality obligations.
When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for the period required to meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations (which for company and financial records can be several years), after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
Data security
We use technical and organisational measures—encryption in transit, access controls and restricted document storage—to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights contact us at info@filingfox.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
